Event Trendsetter stems from our lead designer and planner’s strong passion and talent for weddings and special events and a true desire to work with people. Event Trendsetter lead designer and planner, Shaye, has been dreaming of creating fabulous parties since childhood. After planning her own wedding, she searched for an avenue to express her creativity, and with a penchant for parties she began to design wedding favors and party gifts in 2004. Five years after launching her business and acquiring substantial experience in wedding and special events, Event Trendsetter is the newest venture which has earned distinction as a boutique agency with cultural flair. As a former bride, Shaye understands trust is important and she builds strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and making sure that clients feel comfortable every step of the way. Shaye achieved double Bachelor’s in Psychology and Social Relations and she went on to receive her Masters from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Marriage and Family, so she is an expert in how to interact with couples and all the feelings they may have as they step into marriage. She absolutely loves being a special events planner and strives to create great relationships with her clients as well as their families and friends, as she believes this aspect is vital to creating an affair that exquisitely reflects the client taste and style.

With the direction of our lead planner, Event Trendsetter has a reputation for planning intimate socials to extravagant weddings and has extensive knowledge in coordinating ethnic celebrations. Event Trendsetter has had the unique opportunity to coordinate stunning South Asian weddings as well. We speak a myriad of languages – Spanish, Bangla, Hindi, and Urdu – to accommodate clients of diverse cultural backgrounds.
